Rules permitting this, double down with 9 or hands that count an ace as 11 and with 13-17 against a 4, 5 or 6 if the dealer presents those low values.

If the dealer presents you with two cards of the same value, you may split them. This means doubling your bet and playing with two hands against the dealer, it’s an immediate advantage if you know your cards because you begin to make the deck redundant. However, never split 10′s or 5′s. Always split 8 and 7 against a dealers card of equal or lower value to that 7 and 8. Also consider splitting 2 and 3 pairs against a dealers 4, 5 or 6. Split aces but never split face cards as your opposition gains advantage.

Set yourself a deck management plan, this can be very straight forward and can improve your game over time. Card counting in a casino is said to be controlled and monitored by heavily specified technology. Therefore there are less obvious methods in deck determination, more so on the internet as your own behaviour is never watched.
